Nancy K. Raynor is a skilled litigator with over 30 years of experience. Although she primarily represents hospitals, doctors, and other health care professionals throughout the five-county Philadelphia area, she also defends many general liability claims.  Proactive management of cases, skilled representation, and high level of responsiveness to clients are her hallmarks. Ms. Raynor often presents risk management programs and client workshops and helped to develop and implement a nationwide litigation management program for a major insurance carrier. She has successfully argued before the Superior Court and the Third Circuit Court of Appeals. Ms. Raynor has developed a reputation as an aggressive litigator and staunch advocate for her clients, consistently obtaining impressive results. She enjoys all aspects of her practice, including counseling, negotiations, and trial work.

Ms. Raynor earned her law degree from Villanova University School of Law in 1986.  While an undergraduate student at Villanova, she received a scholarship to study in France through New York University, in conjunction with the University of Paris, Censier and La Sorbonne. She is a member of the Pennsylvania Bar Association and Chester County Bar Association. Ms. Raynor has been selected as a Pennsylvania Super Lawyer and has been elected to the American  Board of Trial Advocates.

Carolyn Sollecito

Carolyn was born and raised in North Merrick and Garden City,
New York and has lived in the Delaware Valley for over 25 years.
Ms. Sollecito is a graduate of Villanova University and Villanova Law School. She is married to Tom Sollecito, DMD and has three children. 

Carolyn comes to Raynor & Associates with over 20 years of legal experience. During her legal career, she served two clerkships with Judge Joseph T. Doyle of the Commonwealth Court, the intermediate appellate court of Pennsylvania, performing advanced legal research and working on complex administrative law issues.  She tried hundreds of workers’ compensation cases at a major firm in Philadelphia, representing employers throughout Pennsylvania. She also headed the workers’ compensation section at a firm in Conshohocken, Pennsylvania, trying cases in Berks, Bucks, Delaware and Philadelphia Counties for a major meat packing company. She changed her focus to medical malpractice, and has defended major hospitals, physicians and medical staff throughout the region. She is happy to be part of the Raynor & Associates team.

Ellen Q. Suria contributes a broad array of knowledge, experience and enthusiasm to the Firm. Upon graduation from Cornell University she received several scholarships to premier law schools. She chose the University of Pennsylvania Law School and graduated at the top of her class. Ellen clerked for the Honorable Harold Wood in the U.S. District Court and has had a distinguished career in both prestigious plaintiff and defense firms. She has assisted in obtaining landmark verdicts and, as part of her pro bono efforts, helped achieve a revision to the Pennsylvania felony murder rule.

Ellen is a member of the Montgomery County Bar Association and a former member of the Disciplinary Board’s Hearing Committee. She has done pro bono work for the Defender Association of Philadelphia and has spoken to various community groups, particularly in a mentoring role about “Life as a Female Lawyer.”

Ellen is particularly interested in medical and legal research, preparing witnesses for trial and helping to develop winning trial strategies.  We are privileged to have such a distinguished attorney on our staff.
